A reader asks:

I live in California, but follow teams back East (especially Ohio State). I want to purchase a college football channel package this year, but I’m not sure if ESPN Gameplan is the way to go, or just the Comcast Football Package, or possibly there are other options. Does anyone know which is the best package for the money? Thanks!

I mean i think Boise state is the only undefeated team in the nation maybe they should be number 1 only a playoff system would give a true number 1. But as of right now FLORIDA GATORS ARE YOUR 2007 NCAA FOOTBALL AND 2006 BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS AMAZING

A reader asked:

Isn’t there a college whose fans have a tradition of standing through every home football game? The idea is that they are ready to run on the field in case the coach needs them to play.
It seems like I remember the story. But I can’t remember which college it is. Maybe it’s several colleges. I don’t know.
I want to use them for an analogy in a speech that I’m writing. (Like always be ready; you never know when you’ll be called on.) Can somebody help me?

A reader asks:

There was some college football team who lost because of a failed conversion because of a penalty where the guy who got the touchdown tossed the ball up in the air. I think their uniforms were purple. Could someone tell me which game this was??? This was about a month or two ago if I remember correctly.

A reader asks:

Do college football scouts look for size and speed more than what you did in high school games or wat? Cus I am a secondary running back in a wing-t formation. I am 5′ 10″ 165, run a 4.9 forty, shuttle 4.9, bench 185, squat 305 but im a junior and like i said am not the primary back… So i dont get as many touches, so does that matter as much as physical ability to colleges?

A reader asks:

Ohio State is somehow number one and Auburn is second and so forth. Why? What determines their rank? I’ve heard it’s according to how rough the team’s schedule is, but I looked at Ohio’s schedule and it’s a walk in the park compared to others. I see many of other teams with ALOT rougher schedules and are still 3-0 or 4-0 and are ranked WAY lower. I mean of course an average team playing crappy teams is going to get good numbers. Can anyone please explain how College Football Rankings work?
