The school?s mascot is named Testudo, which is a diamondback terrapin. Testudo means ‘turtle’ in Latin. Furthermore, the name most probably came from the ancient Roman military scheme, in where soldiers completely enclose their infantry square with their shields in order to guard them from projectiles. Anyone know what teams are supposed to be good in college football next year? I know Ohio State doesn’t have too many seniors this year so they should be up there again. Are White and Slaton supposed to stay at WVU or or they predicted to go pro? Any other thoughts?
