Should College Football Have A Four Game Playoff To Determine Winner Of National Title?

A reader asks:
As a Florida Gators fan with no bias I believe we deserve the title we beat the number one ranked team in college football and heisman winner. However I think a four game playoff should be in place. I disagree with a 6 or 8 playoff because it would reduce the excitement of each individual game in college football since teams who are ranked 1 or 2 know they can be out of hunt for national title if they lose in the last week or two especially to a team out of top ten.
